SCOTT + LOBBY'S HOUSE
We have been engaged to provide an extension to an existing 1960’s house in Seaview Gardens.
The home owners are keen gardeners and enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors. We have tackled the modest budget by trying to keep as much of the existing residence intact to minimise demolition, particularly as the residents wish to live in the house during renovation works.
Our solution is a small self contained extension to house a new kitchen, at the existing house level connected to the existing living and dining space. The extension steps up with the site and will house a new master bedroom and ensuite. A theme for the extension is to create a sculpture in the garden, and create a wonderful “heart” of the house in the courtyard created.
Internally we are refurbishing the existing bathroom and repainting.
